These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website and any enquiry, quote request, or service you purchase from Anslow Building Surveyors (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Website use
- You must not misuse this website or attempt unauthorised access.
- You must not introduce viruses, malware, or conduct attacks that may harm our systems or other users.
- We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the website at any time for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
2. Enquiries and quotes
- Submitting a form or contacting us does not create a binding contract.
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and the visible/known characteristics of the property and service required.
- If information changes (for example: property details, access, scope, urgency), pricing and availability may change.
3. Booking and service delivery
- A booking is confirmed once agreed in writing (email/WhatsApp) and any required payment has been received.
- You are responsible for ensuring we can access the property safely at the agreed time.
- Any delivery timescales (including report turnaround) are estimates. We will communicate promptly if anything changes.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
- If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged up to 50% of the agreed fee.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to 100% of the agreed fee.
- Where third-party or non-refundable costs have been incurred, these may still be payable.
5. Reports and reliance
- Survey reports are prepared for the named client and for the stated purpose only.
- Reports must not be relied upon by third parties unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Unless agreed otherwise, inspections are non-invasive and based on what is reasonably visible and accessible at the time of inspection.
6. Fees and payment
- Fees are as agreed in writing before service delivery.
- Invoices must be paid in line with the terms stated on the invoice.
- Late payment may delay service delivery or report release where applicable.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website is owned by us or licensed to us unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse website content without permission.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for fraud, or death/personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to that:
- We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, loss of profit).
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

This website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
10. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page.
12. Governing law
